Visit of the François Schneider Foundation
Lovers of contemporary art will be delighted to discover this unusual place, which has the theme of water as its common thread through beautiful indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Located at the foot of the Vosges mountains, in the village of Wattwiller, the François Schneider Foundation Contemporary Art Centre is designed around light and transparency, the building includes three exhibition rooms. A sculpture garden completes the ensemble.

Opening hours
<p>Open from Wednesday to Sunday, including public holidays (except 1 May, 24 to 26 December 2023 and 31 December 2023 and 1 January 2024).</p><p>Winter opening hours (October - March) from 1pm to 5pm<br />Summer hours (April - September) from 11am to 6pm</p><p>The Bistr'eau is temporarily closed, however you can enjoy the outdoor panoramic terrace and the garden for a picnic, while respecting the premises.</p><p>Nota bene: the art centre is closed for 3 to 4 weeks when exhibitions are being set up and dismantled.</p>Accessibility

Physical disability
All the interior spaces are accessible and comply with disability standards: lift to all floors, adapted toilets, adapted height of the exhibition signage. However, access to the garden may present difficulties due to the gravel path.<br />A wheelchair is available to the public.<br />Three parking spaces are reserved for people with reduced mobility.

A magnetic loop is available at the reception desk and our toilets are equipped with a visual alarm.

We welcome you and your guide dog at the Foundation. The stairs are marked with contrasting colours and the signage is adapted.
