The Wallpaper Museum located in Rixheim in Alsace, labeled Museum of France, will change your view on this mode of decoration that you think you know! You can admire wallpapers dating from the 18th century to the present day, from dominoté papers to the creations of contemporary designers. The panoramic views that open up the walls to distant lands, exotic landscapes and idyllic gardens invite you to dream. Transport yourself to early 19th century India or North America, relive the Greek War of Independence and admire the exuberant flora of El Dorado.

<p><strong>GPS coordinates</strong> : latitude 47,744135 , longitude 7,397424</p><p>Motorway A35 towards Basel, coming from Mulhouse or Strasbourg - exit 33: Rixheim.<br />Follow the signs to "Centre Ville" then "Musée du Papier Peint" and "Hôtel de ville".</p><p><em>We advise you to park in the Jumenterie car park located between rue Zuber and rue du temple, behind the post office.</em></p>

<p><strong>Line n°11</strong>. Departure from the square in front of the Mulhouse train station - Commanderie stop (in front of the Leclerc shop) in Rixheim. Go straight on in the direction of arrival and at the crossroads follow the signs "Musée du Papier Peint" or "Hôtel de ville".</p><p>Go to line 11 - stop Central Station to go to Rixheim (direction Centre Nautique ile Napoléon )<br />Return line 11 - depard stop Commanderie to go to Mulhouse (direction Central Station)</p>
