The Pays de Hanau Museum is housed in a remarkably renovated architectural complex, listed as a Historic Monument. The 16th century wheat market and the former 14th century castle chapel serve as the setting for this Museum of France, a real tool for interpreting a territory with multiple heritages.
Opening hours
From 1 July to 15 September: Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 2pm to 6pm.
14 July and 15 August:
- if Wednesday, Thursday or Friday: 2pm to 6pm
- if Monday or Tuesday: closed
Museum closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (including public holidays).
