Farmuz Al Khoury, a Syrian refugee, has always been fascinated by drawing, but his studies lead him to the field of health. As comfortable in oil painting as in acrylic painting, she does not hesitate to enrich her paintings with reliefs. Her preference for the somewhat abstract representation of humans is perceptible, but landscapes and flowers are also themes she loves. Practice painting is a kind of painkiller, a remedy against nostalgia. She also "likes to look at those who look at her paintings" hoping "that they find a form of happiness" like her when she paints.
